Well after being completely against public talks and scared stiff about leading walks, I've undertook a weekly Herb walk within the historic plague village of Eyam, Derbyshire. Around 50% of the interested punters were drop ins after seeing our info board across from the Plague Museum, which is wonderful and the response and feedback has been wonderful. So on behalf of Renuka Russell (another Medical Herbalist who was the one who set all this up with constant pestering of the Eyam plague committee) and myself, Thank You to all our customers, the Eyam businesses who put up our flyers and to the wonderful volunteers at the Eyam Plague Museum for their support and encouragement.
Coming up in a fortnight is my first sit down talk and tea tasting at the beautiful Wild in the Country garden next door to the Eyam Plague Museum, we still have spaces so if you want to learn the basics of humourial Tissue States (so hot, cold, dry and damp) and are free on Sunday 30th September from 2pm till 4.30pm, please message me.
Finally, for the October school holiday, I'm planning my first 'Horrors, Haunts and Herbs' event, so stay tuned.
Thank you
Karl xx
