My life and practice has changed immeasurably since my last post (sorry for the wait). Well, firstly, Covid, we are still seeing patients via zoom and whilst not my preferred mode of practice it does have its advantage, like the fact I now have patients far and wide including a couple of international ones.
Secondly, I have become the latest higher education lecturer at Lincoln College, teaching core concepts within the BSc (Hons) in Clinical Herbalism degree, the last UK bastion of university education in medical herbalism. The bulk of my new facility taught me and I'm immensely honoured to teach by their side. We have students from all over the world and enjoy teaching people from every walk of life from artists to doctors.
Finally but never last, I have had to pass on some of my other office and managerial responsibilities to my wife and business partner, Heather (already trained in dispensing and making medicines), she will take over the logistical and managerial aspects of my practice, to allow me to focus on the professional, therapeutic and educational aspects. So when you come back to my clinic or contact me, you might reach my new Business Manager from now on, she doesn't bite.
